Dr. Kiran B.

He obtained his B.Ed., M.Sc. in Botany, and M.Phil. in Seed Technology from the University of Mysore. Subsequently, he earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Mysore.With over 24 years of teaching experience, Dr. Kiran.B has made significant contributions to the fields of phytochemistry, antimicrobial , biopesticides, antioxidants, anticancer studies and insecticidal activity. His research work has resulted in the publication of more than 76 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals. He has also presented 49 research papers at various conferences, symposia, and seminars.In addition to his research achievements, Dr. Kiran has actively participated in over 20 workshops and attended 28 National and International conferences and has been granted four patents. He is also the author of a textbook in the field of Pharmacognosy. His academic excellence and research expertise have earned him recognition as a Ph.D. guide at the University of Mysore and PRIST University.Dr. Kiran is a life member of several academic and professional organizations and continues to be actively involved in research, teaching, and scholarly activities. He has successfully guided more than 40 postgraduate project students and has mentored numerous young researchers in the field of microbiology.Through his dedication to teaching, research, and innovation, Dr. Kiran.B continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of microbiological sciences and higher education.
