The M.Com (Master of Commerce) programme offered by the Department of Studies in Commerce, at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College (Autonomous) PG Wing, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Education Centre, KRS Road, Mysuru since 2002. It is a two-year, four-semester full time Post Graduate Programme affiliated to the University of Mysore.

M.Com Programme is offered under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), which allows students to tailor their curriculum to their career goals while shifting the focus from teacher-centric to student-centric learning.

The curriculum is designed to meet current corporate and educational sector requirements, emphasizing conceptual, analytical, and communication skills.

Students engage with course topics such as Capital Market Instruments, Portfolio Management, Marketing Management, Finance Management, Human Resource Management, Corporate Taxation and so on along with the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the courses.

The department is providing quality education in terms of theory and practice. Periodical seminars, guest lecture from subject experts, poster presentations, Quiz competitions and conferences are arranged for providing insights and exposure to the students which made our students to excel in their academic activities and careers.

The programme aims to develop independent thinking and prepare graduates to be placed in the corporate sector including credit analysts, Finance Associates, HR Associates, Assistant Branch Managers in Private Banks, Lecturers at various Government colleges and Private Institutions.
