About Dr. Roopa R.A.

As a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry, I bring more than a decade of distinguished experience in postgraduate teaching, research, and laboratory supervision. As Head of the Department, I am responsible for academic leadership, curriculum development, quality assurance, and student mentorship, ensuring a rigorous and supportive learning environment. My research encompasses enzymatic and spectrophotometric analytical methods, antioxidant studies, bioanalytical chemistry, green-synthesized nanoparticles, and computational chemistry, including Density Functional Theory (DFT) and molecular docking. I have published my work in reputed peer-reviewed journals and presented my findings at national and international conferences. I have also supervised the research projects of more than 40 postgraduate students, fostering scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and research excellence.
